HOW DO I REQUEST MY REPEAT PRESCRIPTION?
To request a repeat prescription, the easiest and most straightforward way to connect directly with the Practice is to register for GP Online Access. This will not only let you view and order your medication directly and check when your medication was last issued, it will also enable you to view parts of your medical record eg laboratory test results, allergies, immunisations, problems (conditions / diagnoses). This service is available for patients aged 16 years or older. Click Here for more information and Click Here for an application form.
If you are currently signed up for a pharmacy to order your repeat prescriptions on your behalf, you can still change to GP Online Access and take control of your own medication ordering and so much more. This will not affect your relationship with your pharmacy.
Drop in your request at the surgery via the post boxes (outside or inside both buildings)
For patients aged under 16 years old, we will continue to offer our repeat prescription ordering service via our secure website email.
Please note the prescription ordering service via our website will cease for patients aged 16 years or older with effect from 31st March 2020. This will give you time to register for GP Online Access and get your account set up.
We can only process requests for repeat prescriptions – if you require a new medication you will need to book an appointment or speak to one of our doctors on the telephone.
Please be aware that our e-mails are only read and actioned during normal surgery opening hours.
Please ensure that you allow sufficient time for your prescription to be ready when ordering via email.
IMORTANT NOTICE: Please be aware that it is NOT possible to collect repeat prescriptions from Berrow Medical Centre. It IS possible, however, to ask for your repeat prescription to be collected from Day Lewis Pharmacy within Berrow Health Campus, which is located next door to Berrow Medical Centre.
Synchronising your prescriptions
Do you have one or more item of regular medication which runs out at different times during the month?
Do you then end up reordering medication more than once a month?
We can help by syncronising your medication. Click on the link to our leaflet below for full details:

Electronic Prescription Service (EPS) - a new way to get your medicines and appliances
The Electronic Prescription Service (EPS) is an NHS service. It gives you the chance to change how your GP sends your prescription to the place you choose to get your medicines or appliances from.
If you collect your repeat prescriptions from your GP you will not have to visit your GP practice to pick up your paper prescription. Instead, your GP will send it electronically to the place you choose, saving you time.
