Out-Of-Hours Emergency Service (6.30pm-8.00am)
The surgery is closed from:
Monday to Friday 6.30pm to 8.00am next morning; Friday 6.30pm to Monday 8.00am; including all Public Holidays.
If you need urgent medical care or advice, or if you become ill after the GP surgery has closed, please telephone NHS 111.
Your call will be answered by a nurse, who will take some details and then suggest one of the following options:
- Offer the patient advice over the telephone from a nurse or doctor, as appropriate
- Advise the patient to go to a primary care treatment centre
- Send a doctor, nurse or paramedic to the patient's home. (This will depend upon the nature and seriousness of the patient's condition.)
- In the case of a critical medical emergency the nurse will telephone 999 on the patient's behalf
